Your Impact

You will lead the development of Inworld’s AI Engine, including API and SDKs, empowering developers to effortlessly build immersive AI-driven gaming experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a deep understanding of game engines and developer needs, and a passion for building robust, scalable API and SDK solutions. You will also collaborate closely with our AI/ML teams to determine how best to bring AI-powered solutions to game development.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product vision and strategy of the Inworld AI engine, including API and SDKs, to enable the future of AI powered gaming and media.
  • Solve deeply technical challenges related to AI and game engine workflows to clearly identify and scope world-class products.
  • Work closely with C-level executives and industry leaders to understand business and product needs and translate them into clear product requirements for our platform.
  • Translate partners’ feedback and requests into product requirements and roadmap, driving prioritization and pre- and post-launch execution.
  • Manage complex relationships of stakeholders, including investors, partners, and internal leaders.
  • Engage our partners and balance their feedback with an understanding of the current and future capabilities of our platform to identify new features.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
  • Experience as a product manager working with API/SDK products and/or game engines such as Unreal or Unity.
  • Track record of building robust, scalable, and easy to use developer products and owning developer experience for your external customers.
  • Experience and/or deep familiarity with AI powered products.
  • Very strong technical background with a deep understanding of developer needs and/or hands-on experience in software development.
  • Passionate about understanding new trends and cutting edge technologies to ensure that we use the best tools to empower our developer platform.

In-office location: Mountain View, California, United States. Candidates must be based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate (you will be working on-site in our South Bay office a few days a week).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 - $250,000. In addition to base pay, total compensation includes bonus, equity and benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, level, and additional factors, including competencies, experience, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
