Job Description

Position Summary & Overall Purpose:

This position supports Fifth Avenue Financial’s Brokerage Department by providing administrative and service support to the agency, Brokerage Directors, and contracted brokers. 

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Assists our Brokerage Service department with various administrative tasks:

  • Daily forwarding of client service communication to brokers
  • Forwards and follows up on servicing agent change requests
  • Assists with MassMutual form requests
  • Provides electronic application (EZ-App) training
  • Ensures data accuracy by regularly and routinely updating broker information in CRM
  • Prepares and forwards DocuSign forms to brokers and their clients
  • Forwards monthly finance statements to brokers
  • Processes client reassignments
  • Provides Advanced Sales illustration assistance as needed
  • Composes and distributes monthly newsletters to brokers via Constant Contact
  • Schedules and organizes monthly brokerage CE & Sales Webinars
  • Assists with brokerage campaigns, utilizing Constant Contact & Outlook
  • Handles gift orders for top-producing brokers 

Provides Policy Level Services including but not limited to:

  • Generating client policy reports
  • Massmutual.com support
  • Beneficiary changes
  • Policy owner changes
  • Client address changes
  • Policy changes
  • Reinstatement requests
  • Annual statement requests
  • Duplicate policy requests
  • Premium mode changes
  • Loan Payoff quotes
  • Cash value inquiries
  • Dividend option changes
  • FIO quotes
  • PAC changes
  • Surrenders
  • Loan requests
  • PS58 report requests

Performs additional administrative support duties as needed, including, but not limited to:

  • Reception coverage: Inbound calls, greeting visitors & registering guests
  • Mailroom assistance

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Strong organization skills and high attention to detail
  • Service knowledge to assist brokers and their clients

  • Customer service experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Previous administrative experience in customer service or an administrative position for a Financial Services firm is preferred

The base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. The actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
