The Role

We're seeking a Head of Field Sales Operations to build and scale our sales infrastructure. You'll design the systems, processes, and tools that enable thousands of sales reps to efficiently connect brands with retail stores nationwide. This is a strategic leadership role reporting directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build sales operations infrastructure supporting 1,000+ distributed field reps
  • Design compensation structures that drive desired behaviors and marketplace liquidity
  • Implement CRM and sales tools integrated with our data warehouse
  • Create territory management and account assignment algorithms
  • Develop rep training, onboarding, and performance management systems
  • Build sales analytics dashboards using SQL and Metabase
  • Lead sales planning, forecasting, and quota setting processes
  • Partner with product on sales tool development and mobile app features
  • Hire and lead a world-class sales operations team

Requirements:

  • 8+ years experience with 4+ years in sales operations leadership
  • Proven track record of scaling sales teams
  • Strong SQL skills for sales data analysis and reporting
  • Experience with CRM implementation and sales tool stack design
  • Deep understanding of sales and distributed team dynamics
  • Data-driven approach to sales productivity and efficiency
  • Full-time in Manhattan office

Preferred Experience:

  • Built sales operations at marketplaces (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart)
  • CPG or retail sales experience (P&G, Unilever, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo)
  • Field sales operations (pharmaceutical, beverage, food distribution)
  • Experience with route optimization and capacity planning
  • Data skills for automation and advanced analytics
  • Previous experience at Series A-C companies
