Job Description

Tidewater Staffing Solutions is assisting our Kent headquartered client with the search for a Fixed Asset Accountant.

This position is with a stable, well-established building construction company with many long-employees. Target pay is $62,000 to $70,000.

Primary Duties:

• Record capital expenditures correctly including acquisitions, disposals and transfers.
• Track construction projects from start to finish including coding invoices and maintaining project folders.
• Perform regular account reconciliations for fixed assets including CIP (Construction-in-Progress).
• Recording depreciation on all appropriate fixed assets.
• Accounting for Property taxes.
• Accounting for certain rental properties.

Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• At least 1 year of fixed asset accounting experience.
• Willingness to work in-office daily.
• ERP experience.
• Able to use VLOOKUPS, IF statements and other Excel tools.
• Desire to stay with the organization long-term.
• Good interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team environment.
