Companionship Caregiver (Part-Time; Weekends)
Location: Tustin, CA
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

What You’ll Do
As a Companionship Caregiver, your primary role is to enrich the client’s life by fostering connection, joy, and comfort. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building Relationships: Engage in meaningful conversations and activities that bring happiness and stimulation to the client’s day.
- Providing Emotional Support: Be a reliable, empathetic presence, offering companionship that reduces feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Enhancing Daily Living: Assist with light household tasks, such as tidying up or preparing a snack, to create a comfortable and welcoming environment.
- Encouraging Engagement: Encourage hobbies, games, or walks (if applicable) to promote physical and mental well-being.
- Observing and Communicating: Keep an eye on the client’s well-being and promptly report any changes to the care team for proactive support.
- Safety Assurance: Maintain a secure environment, ensuring the client feels safe and cared for at all times.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares for others and has a warm, friendly demeanor. You are:
- Compassionate, patient, and a great conversationalist.
- Attentive to detail and able to follow a care plan effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to create positive experiences.

- $17 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- No professional experience required. Family experience and/or professional caregiver experience is accepted.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
- Ability to communicate with office staff, clients, and other caregivers through phone call, text, and email.
