Position: Attorney
Location: Washington DC
Description: Our client, a global law firm, is looking to bring on a senior associate or counsel attorney with 7+ years of litigation experience for their Washington DC office. The firm handles complex litigation matters including commercial and financial disputes, antitrust, data breach, human rights and environmental matters.
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for all aspects of litigation;
-Investigating and analyzing potential claims;
-Drafting legal memos, complaints, and briefs;
-Managing all phases of discovery (including taking and defending depositions);
-Preparing for and attending trials; and
-Participating in settlement discussions for complex litigation cases, among other responsibilities.
Requirements:
-Must be a team player, a self-starter, highly organized, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities.
-Complex litigation experience and/or significant eDiscovery experience is required.
-Ability to manage and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
-Enthusiastic about the firm’s mission-driven work
-Must be licensed and in good standing or eligible for admission in the District of Columbia.
